Detailed Information

Homestead Center for the Arts (HCA) is a non-profit, umbrella organization established in 1977 to help nurture and promote our communities’ arts and culture. We do not have a physical facility, but we do have individual,business, and Affiliate Members that provide a wide range of opportunities to allow you to personally experience arts, culture, and our unique environment. As HCA, we provide a platform for outreach and several small annual grants. We enthusiastically embrace and share our motto of, “Keeping Arts and Culture Alive”. We make a conscious decision to keep our Basic General Membership at only $20 a year. This adds your voice as we say to city, county, and state government officials, “Yes, arts and culture are important in deep South Dade!”

As an HCA member you’ll receive information and updates about all our activities. If you are an artist, performing artist, or writer, you can be
listed in our Galleries. Sponsor, patron, and benefactor levels are also available at a higher level. For more information, go to;
email; or call (305) 230-9572.

Our Affiliate Members: East Everglades Orchid Society, Expressions Dance Company, Donna Lee Dance Studio, Florida Pioneer Museum, Historic Homestead Town Hall Museum, Homestead Main Street, Homestead Woman’s Club, Lamplighters Writers Group, Mexican American Council, Friends of the Historic Seminole Theatre, Redland Ahead, Inc.,  South Dade Garden Club, South Florida Wood Turners Guild, South Florida National Parks Camera Club, The Children’s Gallery & Art Center
What If Works, Inc.. The Bea Peskoe Art Committee (BPAC) is a separate committee within HCA.
