Welcome to R.F. Orchids!
Thanks for stopping in. While you’re here, we hope you’ll browse through our online catalog, where you’ll find an extraordinary selection of fine vandaceous alliance orchids, from exotic species to the newest hybrids and fine mericlones. Vandas (and their relatives) are our specialty and our passion, but we also offer a terrific variety of warm-growing species, hybrids and mericlones in other alliances. Check out the list, and we’re sure you’ll find something to tempt you! And don’t forget to check out our “Latest news” page, for announcements, news and lots more!

Please refer to “ordering instructions” for more information about ordering from our online catalog. We sometimes have limited quantities of orchids not included on the published list; if you’re looking for something specific, please contact us. From time to time we also have divisions of some of our awarded orchids, and we welcome inquiries about the availability of these plants.

Fine orchids are our only business, and we’ve been doing it for fifty years in the same location just north of downtown Homestead. Our staff is friendly and very knowledgeable.

You’re cordially invited to visit the nursery and our lush tropical garden. We’re open six days a week (closed on Mondays and a few major holidays). We’ll greet you with a cool tropical refreshment and tempt you with the largest selection of flowering orchid plants to be found anywhere. We also offer garden tours at 11am and 3pm on Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting (currently suspended due to Covid-19).  No appointment is necessary…come on down! (need directions? see our map).
