Historic Walton House is a charming cottage and tropical gardens welcoming wedding parties in Homestead, Florida. Built in 1919, the building is based upon the style of an English countryside cottage and is defined by a certain old-world charm. Set amongst acres of pristine natural beauty, the site is truly distinct and a great choice for couples seeking to make an impression. Despite sitting at the heart of such verdant gardens, the venue is nevertheless well connected and lies only a 30-minute drive from Miami International Airport.

Facilities and Capacity

Couples can choose to exchange vows outdoors amid the beautiful scenery which surrounds the venue. Set on 5-acres of botanical tropical gardens, the property is a picturesque stage upon which to host an occasion. The gardens stretch out before guests, inviting them to explore and discover the wonders within. Walking amongst the lush vegetation, snapping some unforgettable wedding photos, couples will find a coral rock swimming pool, a cascading waterfall, and a peaceful lagoon. Throughout the site, all manner of colorful birds, from flamingos to parrots, call out and help further the sense of exclusion in a tropical paradise. Returning indoors, the Walton House itself can host an unforgettable reception. A rugged setting with touches of elegance such as its chandeliers, it is an eye-catching space in which to celebrate. A transparent event tent can also be set up amongst the trees, allowing parties to dine under the canopy in comfort. There is also an Indonesian-style Chickee hut with an expansive deck that looks out over the tropical lagoon. The wedding party can avail of a private get-ready space. This tranquil setting is decorated with antiques and features both a bathroom and bedroom. There is parking available on site.
